Found elsewhere on the web: Santa Claus, like all pilots, gets regular visits from the Federal Aviation Administration, and the FAA examiner arrived last week for the Pre-Christmas Flight Check. In preparation, Santa had the elves wash the sled and bathe all the Reindeer. Santa got his logbook out and made sure all his paperwork was in order. He knew they would examine all his equipment and truly put Santa’s flying skills to the test. The examiner walked slowly around the sled. He checked the Reindeer Harnesses, the landing gear, and Rudolf’s nose. He painstakingly reviewed Santa’s weight and balance calculations for the sled’s enormous payload. Finally, they were ready for the check ride. Santa got in and fastened his Seatbelt and shoulder harness and checked the compass. Then the examiner hopped in carrying, to Santa’s surprise, a 270 Winchester Rifle. “What’s that for?!?â€

My most wonderful woman found me a calendar while at the mall. I thought some here may have an interest too. Yep a pilots view of twelve WW2 era cockpits. Complete with a diagram showing the instruments numbered & a legend to tell you what each one is. Now perhaps I can find the fuel gage & stuff in a couple of the planes I fly. I'm just a mutt. Mostly German, Danish & English with a little Scottish and Swedish thrown-in too. Then my greatx3 grandfather was the Indian agent & a commercial fisherman for the Mormon settlers around Utah Lake. He had 13 wives thus I'm related to half the people in the county & a good deal of Idaho.

Yeah, after hearing that you'd pretty much made-up your mind to try it, I figured it would be ok if I did too. Like I said before, I've only had it a couple of days & last night was the first I'd tried it.

Love that plane

I've had it a couple days now. Downloaded the the self installing one & had no problems. JP, the spit sounds good, the radials sound pretty good, but the jet engine gave me a woody . Had to hang out on the jets server with Psycho last evening & wreak some havoc. Note to Psycho:(I hate you & those frig'n missiles you farg'n bastage! But I'll be back for more.....) Haven't tried any of the new flyables, but I would think you still have the correct armament, just the wrong cockpit view.

Well that is truly sad news. Now who's going to save my backside when I rush into suicidal situations?
