Well i know that upgrading my old system is out of the question. Its about 5 years old, P4 1.8GHz with 1GB ram (all that it will take) and a slow FSB. So my question is what should I get? Money is a problem. I would like to spend the least amount and get the best Rig I can get. I have been looking around and have found a HP at Walmart for $650. Its a Athlon64X2 4400 with 1GB ram. I am looking at upgrading the ram to 4GB and a new vid card for a total cost of about $800. That is about the max

Great pics Steve. I also liked the photos of my almamater (USCG). I have gotten a Copilot seat ride in one of the orange helicopters before. The only problem was we took off and landed on a 210 foot Cutter in about 8 foot seas.

That was pretty cool. I was thinking that it had to cost them a couple hundred dollars in soda and mentos. You know that I am going to have to try the diet coke bomb at work, the bastages will drink any soda that you leave in the fridge ha ha ha.

On Saturday I got to go to American Aero Services open house and get a good look at the Collings Foundations bomber collection. They have one of two flying B24s left,the Witchcraft, a B25 and a B17 the 909. They also have a F4U-5 Corsair night fighter and a Russian trainer.
I had a great talk with a 85 year old B24 tailgunner who had alot of great stories and info about the planes.

Yes that and my power suppy just failed. I also need a second computer so my kid can do school work. With only one sometimes school comes before flying.
