  1. :soapbox: I agree Tonar, it's the illegal part that get me so pissed. If I went to Central America (pick your country), and tried to get free heath care, schooling for my kids (who don't speak the language) my whole family would be escorted to the border and expelled. We also have to go after the companies that hire undocumented workers. I was in Gibsonton Fl. a few weeks ago and I thought that I was in Mexico....Strange to feel like an alien in your own country.
  2. When Grandma Goes To Court

Lawyers should never ask a Mississippi grandma a question if they aren't prepared for the answer.

In a trial, a Southern small-town prosecuting attorney called his first witness, a grand motherly, elderly woman to the stand. He approached her and asked, 'Mrs. Jones, do you know me?' She responded, 'Why, yes, I do know you, Mr. Williams. I've known you since you were a boy, and frankly, you've been a big disappointment to me. You lie, you cheat on your wife, and you manipulate people and talk about them behind their backs. You think you're a big shot when you haven't the brains to realize you'll never amount to anything more than a two-bit paper pusher. Yes, I know you.'

The lawyer was stunned. Not knowing what else to do, he pointed across the room and asked, 'Mrs. Jones, do you know the defense attorney?'

She again replied, 'Why yes, I do. I've known Mr. Bradley since he was a youngster, too. He's lazy, bigoted, and he has a drinking problem. He can't build a normal relationship with anyone, and his law practice is one of the worst in the entire state. Not to mention he cheated on his wife with three different women. One of them was your wife. Yes, I know him.'

    The defense attorney nearly died.

The judge asked both counselors to approach the bench and, in a very quiet voice, said, 'If either of you idiots asks her if she knows me, I'll send you both to the electric chair.'

  3. Just a question about temps, my cpu is running around 36-38c and my mobo is running around 40-43c. Is this normal? I have two 80mm case fans and a stock cpu cooler. There is a heatsink on the chip on the mobo

  4. ~S~ Frumps and a big welcome. As you have already seen, this is a very diverse group of people, very friendly and willing to help out a novice. Remember that drinking and flying don't mix in the real world. Thank God that its encouraged here!!

P.S. have BG send you the welcoming bottle of Scotch.

Well I got my new computer together and every thing was great until after about 4 hours I suddenly lost my internet connection. Now the onboard sound just failed, so I have gotten an RMA from new egg and I am sending it back for a new one.

as soon as it gets in I will be back flying with everyone.

  6. I will try to fly on sunday. I am going for a business degree. I have a few years under my belt, but I took off a few years and now my company wants to pay for the rest. I should have it finished in 18 months. On another note the discovery channel show

I lived on a horse farm as a kid.We would jump on a horses back without a saddle or a bridle and just hang on for dear life as the horse speed across the pasture. We swam in ponds had walnut fights and jumped out of the barn a lot. I wrecked my bike jumping dirt ramps and always did it again.WE HAD FUN. We didn't need TV's (only 3 channels anyway), telephones, video games or mp3 players. We had friends and a great imagination that it. You could take off all day and as long as you were back before dark all was OK. Didn't have to worry about anything, life was great!!!
