  1. That was really well put together.
  2. What- you mean Estonia? I hope you held on to Lithuania and Latvia at least.
  3. EDIT FOR REASONS OF CLARITY (OR LACK THEREOF): Look very carefully at the buildings. BG is everywhere!
  4. I agree with "The Enk". Search through every coloured - ie red or blue- ground object vehicle. Actually, maybe the view filters would speed that up.
  5. That was very very well done. May Oleg shine His light upon you all your days.
  6. "How hard can it be?", says FlatSpinMan innocently, while reading through the thread on creating nuclear targets for ground attack. "I think I'll give that a go for my new fantasy campaign - should surprise the player. This'll just take a sec." "Now all I have to do is add a hangar - yep", he murmurs to himself as he hunches forward over his monitor in the timeless gamer slouch. "Okay, now I just stick in a Mistel with two way points and...voila!" Two minutes later... " No? Oh, my fault. My fault. Just the ONE waypoint - take-off only.
  7. [works best if you say it out loud] Hippo birdie two ewe, Hippo birdie two ewe, Hippo birdie...
  8. Ahh. Suddenly it all becomes clear. I just don't know if I can take the roars of laughter from my wife if I use the reflector dot thing. Either that or the looks of pity. She's a charming thing but totally immune to the joys of IL2, sadly. Hey sged - so what was that chocolate thing you were talking about before?
  9. Hi again. I just used my tiny brain for a second and realised that it'll be available in NZ when I am back there for Xmas. It'd be easier for all concerned to get it that way. However, if you have already ordered it for me then I'll gladly take that one. Let me know if you have and I'll arrange payment. Cheers, Jude
  10. So what are you saying, guys - TrackIR is kind of not bad? Just be honest and say what you mean!! I hate all this "read between the
  11. Hey JP, Can't help as I own neither stick but the comment about Track IR is interesting. I still don't have it and probably won't, but it sounds pretty nifty. Are some people getting disenchanted with it?
  12. I'm still very interested. If it is possible to get me a copy, how would you like payment?
  13. Thanks. I actually read the help file (bold idea there) and deleted al the registry entries that it found. I restarted and all seems okay. Did you check your email for BOB reply? I just revealed the hidden location of the LW base. Nothing else particularly earth shattering in there.
  14. Still hanging around here are ye? While you're here, I just ran the registry cleanup function after making sure there is an "undo" point. Should I just go ahead and delete all the stuff it found?
  15. Cool. Thanks BG I'll give that a try now I think. Does it make a big difference - we'll I guess I can find that out for myself.
  16. You have??? I shall have to check my email! EDIT:Just checked - thanks a lot. I'm glad it was fun. As I wrote in my email the flight times are looooong for the LW so if you want to get home you'll have to go all the way to the extreme North-west of the map. Alternatively, look at your flight map for the three "patrolled ditch areas" out to sea a ways. The entire mainland" is red-controlled.
  17. Yeah, I've herad of them but have never actually used them. I'm pretty good about other maintenance stuff but not registry cleaners. Do you recommend using one, BG?
  18. Salute, gentle fellows, I was online last night trying to connect to HL with mobius. Problem was, my mouse pointer would appear and disappear at seemingly random intervals all over the menu pages, thus rendering me even more inept and ineffectual than usual. i wrote it off as some start-up glitch or maybe connected to the fact I haven't downloaded the lateest version of HL. Then today I thought I'd add some detail to the campaign I'm making, so I loaded up IL2 and sure enough - same problem. I couldn't get my mouse to move properly. I checked it was working okay and it was. I checked it with all other programs and it was perfect. I was beginning to fear that my wife had somehow disabled my mouse with IL2 - I wouldn't put it past her - when I remembered I had changed my graphics driver a few days ago while helping a mate out with some game issues. I rolled back and sure enough my mouse glides silkily across the IL2 interface. Who woulda thunked? Graphics drivers are strange beasts - I get the best performance with the default drivers. Whenever I change them it either prevents me from enabling Perfect mode or else something screwy happens. Anyway, this may be of some use to another Dog sometime so I thought I'd post it for the generations to come.
  19. @Sged - are you really lucky enough to live in Belgium with all that great beer? I'm a huge fan of Trappist beers in particular, like Rochefort, Westvleteren and two days ago I tried a great beer called Villers - don't recall if it was Trappist or not. You don't happen to be passing by the Westvleteren monastery anytime soon, do you?Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more.
  20. Hi Vacillator - I too am a recent refugee from the Ubi wastelands. It's great here and everyone is happy all the time. I just hope this isn't some Matrix/The Island type scheme where BG is actually just farming us for our organs.
  21. Yeah it's a pretty old series - I remember watching it at High School or primary school (I'm 30 now). BTW RedEye - if you make a copy of the Dogfights series I'd love a copy - electronic or otherwise. It may come on cabe over here but you never quite know.
  22. BG, Pooka, Klinger, Rattler, BadAim -anyone else who is keen/not completely unwilling to test the missions and give feedback, can you drop me an email at judeDOTnzATgmailDOTcom and I'll get the missions on their way in a few days. BadAim - good luck with the computer, hope it's online again soon. Thanks a million, guys.
  23. Thanks for the offers, lads. BG- I have no idea of it could be a co-op or not as I haven't ever flown in one. It might be a bit of a stretch as some missions have a lot of objects and aircraft in them. Could be worth trying though. Just to clarify, the campaign is a Luftwaffe Battle of Britain singleplayer campaign. Sorry for the cryptic abbreviation last time but you never know who might be reading. Ideally I'd like to release it before Xmas. I leave for NZ on Dec 23rd so want to ge it out before then. At the moment I have 13 missions that are about ready to go although there are a couple of briefings I want to get straight. So if anyone has time, interest or is just a noble soul (goes without saying when posting in these esteemed forums) then le me know and I'll start sending stuff your way in a day or two. Thanks in advance. Jude
  24. Hi guys, As the title would indicate, I'm looking for a couple of people with free time who could test missions from my WIP BF109E-4 battle of Britain campaign. there'll be about 20 missions and some are pretty long. I have thrown in a few quicker action airstart missions just to keep it interesting. Anyway, if anyone has time and lowers themself to play offline, then I'd really appreciate your help. Cheers, FSM
  25. By the way, how do I add images like you guys above did?Is it the "Link inline image" thing? I had a quick look but couldn't work it out before my attention span failed me.
