While there are no official specs, it's been strongly hinted that a machine that runs IL2 strongly should run SOW fairly well. I have supreme faith in Oleg's boys to write tight and smooth code. When I bought The first IL2 (the day of release) It was half the size of CFS2, had twice the features, half the bugs and looked better at higher framerates! (If I'm exaggerating, it's only because the experience was that good). I'm sure that a midrange machine will run it decently, and a top end machine will crank. I'm thinking of waiting for the six core chips to come down myself before I even consider a major overhaul, but I might go for a four core for my existing rig for the interim (more for ROF, and other games than anything).
