~S~ Shadow,
Looks excellent, nice to see that they are addressing the "free play" issue.
I've not long bought my X52 and although I like the fact that it provides me with separate throttle and joystick (and will lock out yaw so I can use my new CH pedals) the standard of engineering is very poor.
I know that this is he way they are built to a price (£75), but hell, how much slack can you put into a joystick
Its way worse for slack than my old Saitek cyborg gold was at £34 !!
Will be interested to "feel" the Pro model ,(excuse the expression LOL), and to see what price improvement brings with it !

What a fascinating thread !! Not a topic I've ever known that much about other than watching Discovery channel documentaries on the subject.
None of it surprises me in as far as the way in which the Finns were regarded.
Having talked to Klinger , who as some of you know

~S~,
Strange , I thought it was a clever double entendre title for a film about aircraft crash investigations with Tina Turner as host

This will be the second to last patch for IL2 is that right ?
Really does make you wonder how B.O.B is going to be good enough to
eventually supersede it !
Congrats on the house sale all going through BTW , only heard about it last night .
Your pucker factor must have gone right down over the weekend AY !! LMAO.

~S~ Carl, well I see only one head , two arms and two legs .Curves in all the right places ,her own teeth and hair!!
There is nothing missing as far as I can see so if the lady is a fool for "British"accents and likes to have her pants "talked" off she is already in trouble if we act like wingmen and go for a swooping "loose duce" attack right

~S~ TY for the kind words.

~S~ Fine fellows,
I haven't built a model plane for years much less a Spitfire MK IXc CLP !!
Just thought I'd post some pics of this 1/48th Spit I've just spent 3 weeks,(on and off), building.
I expect quite a few of you guys build models of various sizes including, I know, flying ones !! (too clever for me ! lol)
I helped build exhibition models for 3 years in the RAF but that was a long time ago and now my eyes need glasses and my hands shake uncontrollably !! LOL
Recognise the paint scheme ?? lol

-
~S~ Chaps, first of all, thanks DT for a great evenings entertainment sir !!
The lag issue seemed worse with all that mist about in the second mission.
Would it affect lag in the same way flak does ?? Or was it just the murderous flak itself over the beach doing it ?
Missions 1 and 3 were fine for me thank (goodness) !! lol
Bloody close contest from what I can gather, so well done both teams for flying your bottoms off !! ~S~
Well done Colin for taking on the job of leader in the first place. Its easy to sit back and think "well I wouldn't have done it that way" but until your actually the one in the hot seat............!!! LOL

~S~ BG M8, no worries I did it all by myself !! (don't say a word Rog !!! LMAO )

~S~ Fine fellows,
As requested by Jim I have posted the track recorded during our little test of the comming inter squad battle DF map on Sunday 8th Oct.
It's in the K9's track section on our home page .
Feel free to have a flick around and watch yourself "perform" LOL.
I got quite a bit of screen lock until all used the 56k setting as suggested on TS after which all was fine .
Your comments on ALL aspects of the up and comming battle please !

~S~ Having tried all sorts of different distances , I have found that sticking to the SAME figures helps "get your eye in"
Realistic gun convergencies were between 400m and 100m, (over 400m
