No, Most of them are built from EPP foam. they are virtually indistructable(except the control linkage and small amout of balsa control surfaces) you can get started for around $200, which includes the Plane(chevron wing AKA Combat wing), Tx, & Rx. but thats just starting. like any hobby it can cost as much as you got. I most likley have around $2000 in slope gliders and around $4000 in powered planes. it is probably more but I don't think about it. that is over the past 17 years. :shock:

I could not believe my eyes!!! A friend sent this photo of a horrible highway accident in Germany. The picture may be kind of hard to take for some of you. If you look closely you can see what appear to be some survivors of the accident still in the wreckage. Although the picture is quite graphic, it makes you realize how quickly our loved ones can be taken from us. My friend stayed on the scene to help and even though he performed mouth to mouth on quite a few of them, none apparently survived.

Yeh, I came out of work yesterday and heard a strong rumbling in the sky, I looked up, and coming over the build about 50-100' up was a beautiful P-51 in all its glory flying east. the sound of that engine and the sight of it crusing just over my head gave me good bumps!! it was really cool! and I thought the same thing" damn, that looks big"

Got me cannons @ 300m and them MGs @ 400m Open up with a short burst around 450 - 350 to check the angle, them let them have it. I fly and shoot with wide view and only zoom in when I am ground pounding and searching the horizon for bogeys
