    Humour Time

Thank you Roger m8! I needed that today. I'm still grinnin'. Think I am going to share this with the wife. She will get a good laugh and make the evening a bit brighter for her after a long day. Especially after she eats my cookin' today, geesh! I do hate it for her. Chicken again, HEHE!!
  2. They all look m8! Keep it up!
  3. Yea, a big CONGRATS m8!
  4. Well, I wasn't a BF2 fan till now, HEHE! That was a hoot!
  5. Nononono....eh...yea, there are a few I'd imagine. The X-15 was one of my favs. And to be able to look into the cockpit was incredible. The B-36 was another fav for me. Sucker made me feel like a skinny man, HEHE. The nose of that ac is just FAT! Hell, I did look like Steve Austin in front of that ac, woohoo! And I would just like to reiterate what was said above by Beebop. No doubt m8s. What you hear is what you gat when it comes to Beebop, Dub, & Zues-Cat. And, I would say the same would hold true if we all were to hook up somewhere and hang with each other for a while. But one thing is for sure, don't let voices form pictures in your mind, HEHE! Sorry I let you down Enforcer m8. Lol

    NORTON GHOST

Rgrt Dave. I know enogh to understand what you are trying to teach us. I will be purchasing a copy of Norton Ghost asap myself. I do own Acronis and True Image from Acronis. I know these programs could probably do the same. But, I have heard several others talk about Ghost so it must be all that and a bag of chips. Thanks for taking the time to clarify what you were trying to get across to those of us flying and yakking at the time m8!
  7. Maybe the above two posts should be deleted. This is a public forum and I'd hate for news to travel and cause any headaches. Just a suggestion.
  8. I'd eat a mile of........never mind. Geesh! Ready for the wife to get home now!

    upgrades

Even if it is so Kel, heat is a card killer. These factory heatsink are barely capable of properly cooling a video card. Every card I have ever owned had the factory heatsink replaced with a better one as soon as I could afford to pick one up. The only exception I have found lately is the coolers that come on the X850's. If I wasn't watercooling, I would continue to use its' heatsink rather than replacing it with an aftermarket one. Congrats on the new card Kelly!
  10. One thing about setting the convergence that far out, and then getting close in to your target before opening up, may very well allow one to hit two seperate areas of the bogeys ac rather than two bullets meeting together in one spot on an enemy bogey. This may or may not be helpful. And I would think one would have to place the gunsight a little below the target as convergences set as far as 1000m would mean that when fired, the bullets would take a more upward angle instead of a closer convergence such as 200m when bullets fire would take more of a straight out or flatter trjectory. I mean I'd love to be on the 6 of a two engine ac and have the bullets fired from the guns in my left wing to hit the left engine, and the same with the right. I may have to test this theiry in the QMB.
  11. I just hope you don't experience what I did and stay nauseated the whole time you are using TIR. In other words, I hope you don't have a weak stomach m8. Then you will be wishing you had went with rudder pedals. I sold mine three months later. What has helped my flying more than anything else is this X-52 with the twist stick rudder. I had an X-45 and couldn't really manipulate the rudder rocker very well. I now can see how using the rudder when in combat can get me more kills and alot better manueverability. Because for those of you flying with me last Thursday evening saw this. I was kicking ass! WooHoo! And this is the first time in the 4yrs I have been playing this sim that I can actually say that and it be truthful. HEHE
  12. I don't think they would be effective that far out. If you guys are doing this to compensate for your piloting ablities, well, that makes sense. But I don't think there is a pilot among you all that need to compenstate for anything because you are already good enough pilots to get as close as you want to before opening up. But if you are doing this and still getting in close before opening up, then I am sorry and read this thread wrong. I mean if setting convergence to 1000m and getting inside of 200m before opening up gets me more effective hits, then I'll give this a shot myself.
  13. Thanks Quazi? HEHE Hell, I'm just trying to contribute and do my part, just like we all are. So thanks everyone!! WooHoo!!
  14. Chucks the MAN!! I hear he is a tyrant on the set though. He quit doing shows to sell the Total Gym.

    Good deal?

Not only a good deal m8, but a great stick. I believe it is the main reason my flying is improving. I sure am getting comments to that effect lately. Some relate it to the Joint-Ops classes I have been participating in. But I attribute it to a little of both, and more so on the stick side. You will not be disappointed m8.
  16. This has been my expeirence with the Dell and my gaming rig. Of course our routers are from different manufactures, but the same rule should apply. Also, I had Netgear stuff at one time and it worked the same. Anyway, when you type in the 192.168.0.1 and open the routers configurationg, find the section that deals with POrt Fowarding as you have already done. What I had to do here is add port 21000 for each computer using the inside Lan ip for both. So you forward port 21000 for your rigs inside ip and do the same for the other rig using its' inside ip. Doing it this way allowed both rigs to host or connect to each other or outside. Also, make these changes from the first computer in the connection loop. Not sure if this is necessary, but there's no need in using one computer to set its' port forwarding up, and then going to the other computer to set it's portforwarding up. Do them both from one computer. I am on TS with Clarke and BG and we just thought of something. Are you running an ethernet cable from your computer to the other computer instead of connecting it directly to the router? Because what I described above is for all the copmuters to be connected to the router, with no LAN connections.
  17. I could never get it to work like I wanted it to. It would never turn back on the processes I told it to shut down when IL2 is started.

    Do I Need Help?

She also played a role in the movie Constantine with Keanau Reeves. And actually, she was the best part of that movie. HEHE At on time he placed the palm of his hand on her stomack and it covered her entire stomach area. Man!! WooHoo!!
  19. And seeing as I myself have been on an extended LOA for medical reasons, a bit late I know, but best wishes to you Jim. Been there and done that so I do understand what this is all about. This may be harsh and sounding a bit selfish, but don't let anyone stand in the way of your happiness. Sad but true. Sacrifice is important. And I wouldn't say what I have if I didn't already believe you have made these sacrificies. Good luck Jim. And do keep in touch. I do try to keep both TS servers up and running 24\7 so if ever you have a minute to drop in, please do so. I look forward to getting shot down many more times by you m8. HEHE
  20. Stupendis! AWESOME! Man, words just don't get what I am trying to say across!
