  1. Smackz, Since you would like to fly with us, I have made you a Danger Dogz guest. This should give you access to this thread that gives you all the info you will need to fly with us. http://www.dangerdogz.com/forums/index.php/topic,6622.msg53366.html#msg53366
  2. Welcome to our Forum SmackZ. I am sure someone will be around shortly to help you with setting up HL. Were you thinking you might want to fly with the Danger Dogz?
  3. He stayed fairly close to the ground at 15ft although he said he could go higher. I guess we will see him at air displays etc. Good stuff.
  4. I suspect this will be making the rounds shortly but some excellent pictures and information. [attachment=1]
  5. My goodness. I had completely forgotten that I posted this.
  6. A Texan walks into a pub in Scotland and clears his throat to the crowd of drinkers. He says, "I hear you Scots are a bunch of hard drinkers. I'll give $500 American dollars to anybody in here who can drink 10 shots of Scotch back-to-back." The room is quiet, and no one takes up the Texans offer. One man even leaves. Thirty minutes later the same gentleman who left shows up and taps the Texan on the shoulder. "Is your bet still good?" asks the Scotsman. The Texan says yes and asks the bartender to line up 10 shots of
  7. Thanks Rog. That is most helpful. Guy lives 30 miles away and is on 30kbps dial up. He has zero computer savy. He does not have any manuals or CD for the mobo. Next time I go back there, I will take a CD with his chipset drivers on them and at least get that working. I might also pull his computer out and have a look at the mobo.
  8. Hi Rog, I have run a dxdiag on his computer and his drivers are out of date. Can you take a look at it for me and give me links so that I can download updates for him. Many thanks
  9. Thanks guys. I have got it fixed now. Native resolution on the monitor is 1680 x 1050. When I changed it to 1280 x 768, it corrected the issue.
  10. I am at my buddies house and he just got as new 22" monitor. However, the viewing area is cut off on both sides by 2 x 2". I have tried increasing the resolution but it makes no difference. Does anybody know how to stretch the screen out? He is using XP Pro
  11. Not sure if you finally got your ATI card working Kelly but you might want to check this thread out. http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/49310655/m/8681048727?r=2821007827#2821007827
  12. Do you mean, how do you stop all that script appearing at the top of your screen? Go into conf.ini and change this section as follows: I think No Sub Titles is the one to do it but you might want to turn off the chatter as well. [game] Arcade=1 HighGore=0 mapPadX=0.5996094 mapPadY=-0.01953125 viewSet=58 Intro=0 NoSubTitles=1 NoChatter=1 NoHudLog=0 NoLensFlare=1 iconTypes=3 eventlog=eventlog.lst eventlogkeep=0 3dgunners=0 SubTitlesLines=4 ClearCache=1 TypeClouds=0 Don't forget to save the file after you make the change.
  13. Just looked cougar up and I guess that photo might be accurate after all. Males have an average weight of about 53 to 72 kilograms (115 to 160 pounds). In rare cases, some may reach over 118 kg (260 lb). Female average weight is between 34 and 48 kg (75 and 105 lb). Cougar size is smallest close to the equator, and larger towards the poles. The head of the cat is round and the ears erect. Its powerful forequarters, neck, and jaw serve to grasp and hold large prey. It has five retractable claws on its forepaws (one a dewclaw) and four on its hind paws. The larger front feet and claws are adaptations to clutching prey. Cougars can be almost as large as jaguars, but are less muscled and powerful; where their ranges overlap, the cougar tends to be smaller than average. The cougar is on average as heavy as the leopard. Despite its size, it is not typically classified among the "big cats," as it cannot roar, lacking the specialized larynx and hyoid apparatus of Panthera.[18] Like domestic cats, cougars vocalize low-pitched hisses, growls, and purrs, as well as chirps and whistles.
  14. I agree Bucky. It does look a bit phoney. If that thing came after you, you would be dog meat. Right?
  15. Every time I switch versions, I get a request from my firewall which is Sygate to confirm everything is ok.
  16. Just black bear and wolves Tonar.
  17. Here is a photo of a cougar killed on Nootka Island, British Columbia. The fella who shot it, is 6 foot tall, and weighs about 220 lbs.He was standing next to Pat's B & B, when he saw the big cat pass him upwind, and then pass him down wind. When the cat passed him again, he knew the cat was stalking him....that made it necessary to harvest the big cat, before someone got hurt. I didn't realise just how big cougars are.
  18. You have earned it Smash. A pleasure to have you aboard sir. NOW GET ME A SCOTCH.
  19. Just download the new ones and install. They will replace the older ones. I updated mine too.
  20. I see a few things in your dxdiag Tom that need fixin, but I will defer to b16Enk on this. He knows his stuff. I just dabble.
  21. Most Montrealers are bilingual Erco. If it was Quebec City you were visiting then that is a horse of a different colour.
