  1. Oh never mind. You will never find it. http://www.dangerdogz.com/forums/index.php/topic,7140.msg59859.html#msg59859
  2. Somebody already posted this. Try a search for it.
  3. He shot you down Pook! That doesn't bode well for the rest of us. Maybe he just needs a few sessions with the Chaplain. (Enter Chaplain stage left).
  4. ~S~ Mr Watson, Mr Painless told me you might be along tonight to register. I tried to fly in your graduation tonight but unfortunately I was having some computer issue and couldn't make it. I am going to give you access to some real secret stuff here so that you can at least fly a few missions with us. If you like what you see then we can do a formal induction into the Danger Dogz that involves an ancient ceremony. Have a look at this thread with your new found powers. http://www.dangerdogz.com/forums/index.php/topic,6622.msg53366.html#msg53366 Ignore the stuff about the mods. It is obsolete and needs to be rewritten which will be one of your jobs if you decide to join the Dogz. PS. Isn't Painless a real twit or should that be a twat?
  5. Afraid we can only register drunk people.
  6. Finally got the new Artic Cooler installed. What a beast to get in there! I had to take off the fan to line up the 4 rubber screws and get it installed. But I think it is secure and the temps are definitely lower. Could you please give me some advice on how to oc an Asus P5E, Falconise? The E8500 is currently running at stock 3.1728 MHz. I would like to take it up to maybe 3.5MHz on air cooling then benchmark frame rates at various settings to see what happens. Many thanks
  7. As usual, great info Falconise. I think the Dogz should put you on a permanent retainer like I am on. What I might do then is see if I can pick up a Asus Rampage Extreme on ebay or at a low price and use that. Then a little further down the road, when and if prices drop, get a new case and a 11 Extreme board and an i series CPU. That would allow me to keep what I have as a backup machine.
  8. Sorry to highjack Fireman's thread. Hold on, it was Tonar's thread to start with. Anyway great thread and great sales job Falconise, Getting Fireman to open his wallet is a major victory. But I digress. I ordered an Artic Cooler for my CPU from Canada Direct in Vancouver about 3 days ago and was totally blown away when it showed up in Ontario yesterday. I have never seen anything shipped or delivered that fast. I have also been using the price search you posted and can't tell you how impressed I am with it. BTW what is your opinion on the Asus 11 Rampage Extreme Board? I am starting to think of a new build and have heard such good things about the board, I thought I might get it now. I have an E8500 and an 850W OCz PSU with 2 X1950X in Crossfire in my current rig and could add those. I am interested in overclocking the E8500 and the Asus board looks like a good board for that. DD_Snacko has that board and I think he likes it a lot.
  9. I had no idea how complex that thing was. I wonder when they will add the bowling alley and the outdoor drive in cinema?
  10. Didn't I see one of those being used in the Mumbai Incident?
  11. He was very good although I am not so sure about his choice of headgear. Reminds me of the time I was in London and got all dressed up in my kilt and went to the BBC studios where they put on some show where you had to answer some skill testing questions and then they let you pick a prize from ten boxes. Sure enough I got picked and was able to answer the first two questions correctly. Then the game host Bruce Forsyth I think it was, asked me if the word enervate meant to strengthen or weaken. I thought long and hard and figured it must be something to do with energy and said strengthen. WRONG!!
  12. Please welcome Sweper guys. He is from Sweden and is brand new to the game and would like some help in getting started. I'll see if I can coax him to come by and say a few words.
  13. Thanks Falconise. Great to see someone with your knowledge and experience post on the Forum.
  14. You have convinced me about that Arctic Cooling Freezer Pro cpu heatsink Falconise. I am planning on overclocking an E8500 up to 3.5 and would feel a lot more easy if there was a newer and better fan on it than a stock Intel one that is on there now. But where do you get it at $20? NCIX shows $35.99!
  15. Andrew. I think you are getting close but that CPU still troubles me and I think you might regret not getting something better down the road. You need a balanced system and that CPU will hold you back. Don't want to send you off in another direction but I saw this on Ebay. http://cgi.ebay.ca/INTEL-DUAL-CORE-E7400-2-80G-COMPUTER-320G-2GB-DVDRW-NEW_W0QQitemZ250342796938QQcmdZViewItemQQptZDesktop_PCs?hash=item250342796938&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1215|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318 The company is in Markham and you could always call them and discuss what other motherboards they have since the one they show is onboard graphics. It has a 600watt PSU and a nice looking case. I am sure they would let you have a bigger hard drive as well. You would get a assembled computer, and a choice of an Operating System. You could also drive down to pick it up and save yourself a pile on shipping costs that you will incur if you buy parts from NCIX. Just another option m8 but you will get a better CPU.
  16. You are always welcome to fly as a guest sir. I have given you guest status so you should be able to see this thread. http://www.dangerdogz.com/forums/index.php/topic,6622.msg53366.html#msg53366
  17. Good luck on your spelling test m8.
  18. Really enjoyed flying with you tonight Roberts. You are just the kinda guy who would fit right in with the Danger Dogz. But I wouldn't be that crass to suggest you become a Danger Dogz. Right guys?
  19. Not the way I would go Mr. Tonar. That 300 watt PSU is like putting bicycle brakes on a Ferrari. Something expensive is going to burn out very quickly. The CPU also looks weak. Fraid you are going to have spend a little more. Being cheap is one thing but I think you would just be throwing money down the drain. Whatever you do, buy a good brand PSU with enough wattage.
