Book I just finished

Painless asked for more info on this book, so here it is. It's called "the 8th Air Force Lottery", and it's written by a 31 mission survivor in the co-pilot's seat of a B17 during the time of D-Day (he actually flew nearly a dozen missions in direct support of the invasion). Harold Rochette is in no danger of winning a pulitzer, but the story is engaging enough that I had trouble putting it down. History buffs will also find several mistakes in the parallel history that he provides throughout the book, but they're overshadowed by the story. Looks like Amazon has some in stock for anyone interested.
