  1. Good morning Tom,

I hope I'm not going to step on your toes with this, but you may have seen this vid already .

Retired F-14 RIO explaining the workings of the back seat. A lot of detail? but easy to watch. A good section at about 1.39 covering

the different radar modes and when to use them. I gather further tutorials to come.

  2. Tom, It does have that effect on you once you have started. As I have said before I have built a small N gauge layout up stairs for the winter months.

DD_Arthur, It is 16mm scale the correct scale down for the real narrow gauge railways around the country.

The track length is 111 meters and the duration of a complete run is just over four mins.

The hardest part for me is having to deal with the vegetation each season, mole hill's,flooding. However I would not like to elevate the track

as Gauge 1 owners have to, although the knee's would not agree? Here is the second of the newer vids taken two years ago.

Grandparent commitments and medical issues meant a quiet time last summer on the BTHR.

  4. Having had numerous requests? for some Ben Tarvie Highland Railway' narrow gauge footage,I have succumbed to pressure.Do look at the others that are on my site.

All generous donations and subscriptions greatly received to keep this line going!

  5. Have a look at 'Spudknocker' on YouTube. He has a vid on HOTAS setup covering the bare essentials.I have a CH Combat stick and CH Throttle.

Plenty of buttons and switches to cover the necessary! All I did was put DCS on Windows mode and worked my way through adding the necessary as he worked his way through.

You can add others as you get on with the big bus?

  6. Good morning Sid, You are correct.Beta only. There are some issues regarding slow loading time and, time outs on multiplayer etc.

I am unable to get in on Toms server on the Beta.Continually being timed out with a high ping figure. So off line only at the moment .

ED forums are full of the same,so I assume they are working on it.

However you cannot loose the smile on your face when you are flying it?

  7. Yes,I will admit to favoring the Lwin+Home shuffle when it comes to the Hornet! I just want to get in the air whilst I can still remember how to

fire a particular weapon, having watched a YouTube vid 5 mins ago?

The pressure will be on when there is a cue at the cat whilst you are still working your way through no 150 on the list.Everyone will be having to

tank shortly after leaving the carrier!
