S~ Jim et al.
You truly are a God amongst men. I feel priviledged, overwhelmed and humbled to have been a part of the group you created. Flying with the Dogz and Hounds was always a pleasure - All thanks to you
You patience knows no bounds. Your selflessness, no limits.
My warmest and heartfelt wishes to you and your family and all your fellow flying brothers.
There's always a sheep in my pen with your name on it

True enough but what about the guy you are chasing who knows you are there when you are actually in his "blind spot".

Thanks BG for the Irfanview download offer.
I mentioned the don't download warning I was getting in the internet search for it, Fraps had a warning as well, to others on the UBI forum and most who have either one installed scoffed at them being infected in any way.
I have a decent anti-virus program, and now I don't know what to believe.
Cheers.
Internet life is always fraught with danger.

I can't fault my Linksys router although I did have to butcher the firmware to a very well coded non-standard linux variant to get the most out of BitTorrents.

By far the best post so far is this one.

I'm sure it's only a matter of time but as one poster pointed out they are only "Improvements".

LOL.. I was going to say "Do Mickey" -
I've never used one either but MS mice have always been great in the past and the firkin left mouse button is driving me nuts with double picks and double clicks when I don't need it.
The wireless MS mouse I had was great and a shame it wore out! .

Here's something I found useful.

I had the wireless house brick from Microsoft (fantastic mouse and the weight was an added bonus).
I had the intellimouse explorer for the right-handed users amongst us and it was another great purchase.
I thought I'd give this one a run for its money

Guys,
Below is the contents of an email I received today from a friend who has a Vista machine.
Hi Colin,
Sorry to bother you but I've a technical problem with my PC.
This weekend I've been unable to receive mail in Windows Mail and as I'm now officially "out of work" I do want to ensure that I receive all email from the agencies.
The error message is
An unknown error has occurred. Account: 'BT Total Broadband', Server: 'mail.btinternet.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x80004005
I've phoned BT as I assumed it was to do with the Broadband. They took control of the PC and confirmed that all settings are OK. They went through to a Windows Technical support which found this response
Problems with Runtime 0x80004005 Error?
Cause: Runtime 0x80004005 errors usually are caused by misplacement or a broken system registry structure.
Note: This is also a critical sign of an unstable system that is usually caused by improper
maintenance of the computer
They didn't want to run the fix in case it creates other problems.
I hope you are able to help.
Thanks
Jan
I have had a quick look in google but its seems that it could be many different things, any offers?
Plenty but none that should be posted here
As the email has mentioned could be a multitude of things from RAM to PSU to a stuffed registry.

yup,
need the wind to create lift up the slope, no wind = no lift
I know that but how bad does the wind have to get before you stop flying?
