  1. Also I forgot to add, what happens if you have your supercharger set to level 2 and forget to drop it again when you chase someone low, and are there any audio cues as to when you need to go up or down with it?

  2. Working on getting my CH sticks programmed and in *****Squadron Standing Orders***** it says in there to have mixture set on the stick. Now I havent played with mixture at all and I wonder if its why I keep popping a 109's motor. I found a spreadsheet that Frior put up in the download section where it has Supercharger/mixture settings for various planes. Now here's where I get confused, it says to "increase" mixture at certain high altitudes. I always understood that you needed to lean or decrease fuel mixture as the air gets thinner ( at least you do in a Cessna ). So someone help me out and give me a complete lecture on using mixture in iL2 ( at least 5 , double spaced pages ) iffn ya dont mind.

  3. I went to an airshow in Roseburg Orgeon, little while back, and finally got the pics off my camera.

It was a pretty rinky-dink airshow, no acrobatics at all, just flyby's. And if you had $750 you could get

a flight in a P51. There were some very cool Aircraft there tho....

    The B25 didnt fly :(

Of course any Airshow close to the coast, the Coast Guard is allways there. The first

pic, if you look close enough you'll see debris floating around. I took that pic with no

zoom at all, he was about 20 ft up, and then he slipped to within 20 ft or so of

  4. Hi , I'm one of the J9 guys sparrow is speaking about. We dont have enough to make a squad of our own as most of RAC and J9 are content to stay with Red Baron. Some due to the hardware requirements and some due to the learning curve of iL2. Right now we have roughly 5 gentlemen ( and I use that term loosely ). 3 from England, 1 from O' Canada, and I from Oregon USA. There might be 2-3 more from North America we can convince, but I doubt much more. Our main problem was not enough in the same time zones to make for good practices and mission fun to make an iL2 squad work. Which is why we are looking around for a squad with many time zones.
