Gets to look so real, up to the point where the perfect roundness of the rubber tires starts to look weird!!
(Especially in the 7th picture)

You are right about the tyres! They have now been "flattened" by putting course sand paper underneath the wheels and carefully holding the wheel itself and rubbing back and forth on the flat table surface. What you can't do is get that "bulge" look in the lower tyre side wall, unless............................

Just in case the service is of any use to you in the future.......the replacement left aileron and actuators arrived today free of charge from Revell !
It took 7 weeks but they did warn me about that.
Dam good show !
