NAVY Posted October 8, 2011 Share Posted October 8, 2011 I'm there all signed up and am the extremely happy owner of Apache Air Assault, .Wings of Prey, and soon to be World of Planes all games from Gajin Entertainment. Do not believe the Arcade stereo type given these games mostly by people that either have not played them at all or only for a few mins. The bashing is actually totally unfounded when you consider they are all just games after all, played for fun. I remember when the mods for IL2 first surfaced and how I had to leave a squad because they would not use them. look at all those nay-sayers now playing the mods happily forgetting all the BS they threw out against them. Take 1946 for example it could be labeled arcadey just on the basis that some of the aircraft's weaponry is dumbed down to balance the game. Then there are the flight model experts sitting in their computer chairs thinking they actually know what an accurate flight model is. I challenge anyone here to come play Wings of Prey with me for several weeks and then give your honest opinion of the actual in game experience. Yes it not as full featured as IL2 but it actually is more realistic than IL2 in many ways. Im sure I will like IL2 as much as WWII online, World of Planes or Warbirds for that matter..
