After not having it very long the thing will not boot. he haas shown it to another contact who thinks that the bios is corrupted. How do i go about correcting the bios to make it boot correctly. Any advise / pointers very welcome.
Blairgowrie
If it won't boot he will likely have to clear CMOS which is usually easy to do. Did he get a manual and a CD with the laptop?

You will need model number and BIOS version required (you will have to email that to them) and they will provide you with a new CMOS chip, if soldered in then whole laptop will have to be sent.
