Tonar Posted April 13, 2010 Report Share Posted April 13, 2010 I have 2 PC's connected to a switch, which is then in turn connected to a DSL modem to the Ethernet. DDz Quorum Report Share Posted April 13, 2010 Both PCs need to be on same subnet, this should happen automatically if both are set to get IP from DHCP and your router/switch acts as a dhcp server.If you do not have a router (you mention 'switch' then they will auto assign an IP - this should be on same subnet/mask..need more detail (output of start > run > cmd + enter > ipconfig/all from both systems).
