Hi guys.
Our web site is currently using a shared IP, but we qualify for a free dedicated IP address.
Today I raised a ticket to get the IP changed, this will create a temporary outage and you may need to flush your DNS cache to get the site to reload.
To flush DNS:
Start > Run (or search in 7) and type in: cmd
Hit enter
In command prompt window type the following and press enter:
ipconfig /flushdns
This should help clear out the stale DNS data and hopefully the new DNS address will be loaded.
The dedicated IP address will be beneficial in many ways, should help the site perform a little bit quicker and also ensure we do not get blacklisted because other users on the shared server spam..
Once this is done I will then be able to finish the DangerDogz email configuration and move all accounts over to Google.
Upcoming IP Change
