Modelling with a difference

Lately I've turned my modelling interest to the Napoleonic wars, mainly sea battles from that period and i thought i'd post some photos of the 1/1200 scale spanish warship i've been building.

Santisima Trinidad (140) 'at quarters':

This ship, in her time the largest in the world, is depicted as at Trafalgar, with immense 4-decked sides showing the barrels of her formidable broadsides. Distinguished by her red sides as well as by her size.

Im starting with the hope of doing all the ships which were present at the battle, 33 Spanish and French, and the 27 English.:)

The ships are made from white metal, brass and resin base. The rigging is nylon and you thread it yourself. All the black rigging is standard
