sged Posted July 13, 2009 Report Share Posted July 13, 2009 Yea, the 190 dropped many mouths I bet, incl. mine , though not the original engine, the flyby sounds of the exhausts are real, since those make the sound for a great deal. I learned that the 190 was 500kg lighter as original, since they didn't add the armor, but then again, the Spits and others might be lighter as well since there's no guns in em anymore (pls confirm?), so that's why it was so fast up... In most cases, the guns are still in place as removal would move the centre of gravity and change the handling characteristics. Where the guns are removed, ballast has to be added negating the weight loss. The 190 is a different case as it has been built from scratch without armour or guns, and the weight distribution has been modified to retain the c of g accordingly.
