Gec,

Are you sure? If OT wraps up the RAM well and sticks it in a tiny parcel and labels it SMALL PACKAGE and writes on the declaration sticker that it's a 'toy' worth $2, I'm sure postage/shipping won't be more than a few quid and he'll bypass customs.

No?

if u send it via regular mail i guess u r right

I cant put my hand on one (which kind of pi$$es me off coz I know I had at least 1) all I have available at this time is a P4 2.8 with board and all the trimmings.

Again, I'm sorry but I know there is a cleanout due of the computer room and there should be one in there.

I now have a processor available but i'm not sure how to send it so any advice on this would be appreciated.

BTW its a Pentium D 2.8, is this compatible with the board you have?

also as mentioned it will be a lot cheaper (easier?) to send the chip without its heatsink, will that be OK?

I've checked my closet and have found an AOpen CD-R/RW/DVD-Rom Drive, if this would help its yours mate.

Just gathering dust, send me a PM with your address and I'll mail it out tomorrow.

Sorry I haven't been following this thread lately.
