DDz Quorum Share Posted August 14, 2006 humor me please...., go into one of the profiles, select the general tab and try and type in a description for the profile. try typing a word with an "a" or "e" i just have and the "a" and "e" does'nt work, and then does not work in microsoft word. re-boot, go back into word and they work again. wierd or what...or is it just me? DDz Quorum Share Posted August 15, 2006 ok, sorted it (i think) i had shut the computer down for the night, was just having a last pee before bed, enjoying the solitude, the companionship....when it suddenly came to me. and iirc...there is a setting that traps the key, locks it from other applications. i must have had that ticked. will have a look when i get home tonight. many thanks for looking roger.
