Start by providing us with a Dxdiag:

Start > Run

Type in:

dxdiag then hit enter

Let it complete all tests (you can tell it not to do the WHQL bit) then..

Click 'Save All Information' - this defaults to saving a file called dxdiag.txt on your desktop, open that in notepad and select all and copy, then post that data in a post here.

I suspect that you have been walloped with an known Intel grahics driver issue, but need to see the dxdiag results first.

@ B16enk would it have any agp drivers as its a mobile chipset ?

from your posts with the error message and with graphics crashing , it might be a graphics an overheat problem or a memory problem - an extra gig of memory might help if possible.

when does your machine crash?

@ Delta I believe it would, as the GPU is effectively a PCI-Express device and as such would have AGP (I know it's nuts but that's the way it is!).

Delta made a good post, I wanted to see if re-loading your drivers fixed the AGP issue and possibly the crash too, as IL2 may not display the same symptoms with teh newer driver if it is installed OK.

Re-post your Dxdiag Smash and let us see if it helped.

If that didn't I would suggest un-installing the drivers from add/remove programs and trying an older driver.
