In replaceing my cd-ro for a dvd drive (see other thread) I had to get the machine up on the bench (well dinning room table). I powered down, removed the power cable and pressed the power button to discharge any remaining juice, then removed all usb's and netowrk cables. So the machine is now dead. I work on it and every thing is fine. I replace the drive, plug back in all the cables and switch it back on.....now why the feck does the machine think the x52 is a new device, and as a result wont load the profiles? any offers ?
