Administrators Report Share Posted April 12, 2010 Hi Rattler, heres the link for the campaign, for your conveniance 9 lives its a really well done historical campaign, if you read Al Deeres book, you almost know whats coming next, and as the map is 2/3's scale, fuel is locked at 66%, so flying to france from hornchurch doesn't give you much over france, and its a common sight to see 109's turning for home later in the battle which adds to the historical flavour. I've got Fighter Boys too, its definatly a good read, and you get to fly the 54 squadron missions that that book references as well, good fun tangaling with Gallands fighters in the Battle of the Thames Estuary! Your water looks really natural ! wow. i run water=2 in the ini file, water=4 is to big a hit down really low, even on my system, at wave top height fps drops to about 30fps instead of 60 with water=2. My card is a nvidia gtx280. However, i also use a water mod and the sun reflection mod that were done by OLC, found here, water and reflection mod Also i've changed the colour of the water on that map, as i prefer blue to grey... This was inspired by the great screenshots from Fruitbat. I just wanted to be able to fly on that map for a few hours, so I added two bases and lots of AI, ships, and ports. It still needs some AI tweaks but it looks like it's about ready. I just generated a mission through dgen, and then transfered it to the new map (one change to the .mis file), plus tweaked the skins, hope you like, PS, is there any way of stopping the forum resizing the screenies from 1920*1200 to 1600*1000 when their uploaded, cause the images loose quality?
