Hmmm.

Wonder if that is the same issue I have with my DFI board.

If I power off it can take 30 mins or more to get it to fire up again, lights flash but no-one at home...really scary...dare I try it...it's running Ok but if I turn it off...

I know you guy's are the experts Rog but I would like to suggest that your problem might be the power supply, I had trouble with mine like that for quite awhile: when I re-booted it would be fine but if I shut - down for the night it would take forever to start up- even though the power light on the mother board was on. what I realized was that if I didn't shut off the power strip, or phisically switch off the power supply it would fire up right away. I tested the power supply (with a light strip type tester) and it tested fine.....but it wasn't, when I finally replaced the power supply my problem went away.

I think you are right Chet, even though the power supply is relatively new.

Bloody hassle though to get it swapped out under warranty.

I'll have to 'borrow' one from one of the other systems in the house to test the theory, there is a small chance it's the mobo but fingers crossed - PSU swap would mean an upgrade if I play it right :)
