1. DDz Quorum B16Enk Posted December 27, 2006 1. DDz Quorum Share Posted December 27, 2006 I can only recommend the Zalman CNPS9700-LED Aero Flower (Socket AM2/939/754/478/775) CPU Cooler. A tad fiddly to fit but performs very well I get idle 30C and rarely see it get as high as 40C.

wilder
Rgr on getting most airflow, got the 120 in the front blowing in the sidefan blowing in, two in back blowing out and two in power supply blowing out. Found it ran cooler like that. So let see so far here. 2 in power supply
BBloke
Hehehehe.. I had a number of fans running along with a Cooler Master Jet4 CPU Heatsink and Fan and the Zalman was all that was really needed.
wilder
I have been looking for a eve or two and have seen the zalmans and others with the cooling tubes and was wondering if they were any good, had no idea there. I could look at the specs all day right now and not help too much.
BBloke
I took the lead from Rog on them and I have to say they are a worthy investment.
1. DDz Quorum B16Enk Posted December 29, 2006 1. DDz Quorum Share Posted December 29, 2006 They say hot air rises... So bottom fan sucks and the top fan at rear blows... Zalman uses cooler pipe style, fan is at 90 degrees to CPU/heatsink.
BadAim
I also have the Zalman (the older 9500, but nearly the same), and it's fantastic in the coolness and quietness department ( it actually beats many of the quikie water cooling kits) but the thing that sold me was the light weight, and fairly small size, some of these coolers they sell weigh over two pounds!!! I just don't see hanging sonething like that off my motherboard when the zalman outperforms all of them. There's my $.

Sadly the back fan is close to a radiator so sucking in warm air is a little too much
