Il2 Joystick Input.. Does It Save?

I have always used IL2JoyControl.  But was trying to use the game's joystick input sliders today and am confused as to how it works?

It is currently set to 'Joystick1'.  I adjusted the sliders and clicked 'Save'.  I assumed it saved?  So, I changed the sliders and tested them out..  Then I clicked 'Load' to get my old settings back, and nothing happened.

How does this work?

PS: I was editing the input while in a quick mission.  After a while the game crashed.  After I loaded it again I edited input from the main menu and it did load different profiles for JS1,2,3,4 it appears.  Then it crashed again.  Reboot time..

Pressing Load loads the profile values stored under the listed/selected profile.

Save saves them. So, that's where/how you lost your 'old settings'.

You should have selected 'Joystick2'  first, then press Save

What worries me in your case, is the game cashing, that should not happen.

Well, I was thinking it was because I was changing the js profiles so much while in a flight..

I'm not sure it works while you're flying.. It started working like you said when I changed it from the main menu...

Could have just been a fluke crash..
