Sunflower Posted November 16, 2006 Report Share Posted November 16, 2006 I have a dim memory of Roger explaining to somebody on the Zoo how to, and how not to, uninstall a pci card so that its resources are freed up in Windows. DDz Quorum Report Share Posted November 17, 2006 I would first un-install the drivers and any utilities it came with, this may be a case of add/remove programs for utilities then device manager to uninstall the device. Optionally you can also open network connections, do a properties on the WiFi connection and un-install the services associated with it, TCP/IP will not be un-installable. Power down and remove the card. When restarted the resources should be free, this can be double checked by going into device manager click view and click 'Show Hidden Devices'.
