X-52 Profiles And Settings In Config

Hi could folk please post their x-52 profiles and settings here so I can compaire them to my current set up, Im sur eyou guys will have it more optimised than I have , having had more time with the stick

I would, but unfortunatly, you cannot share a x52 Pro profile with a normal x52 stick. Crazy!!

I have spent all day on this and now have it set up so mode1 is preflight

mode 2 is flight

mode 3 is bombing

Now I just have to remember them all, but shouldnt be too bad as most are similar to my old set up but cleaned up

I will type up a word document with my settings and post them , there is still a lot of unused buttons waiting to be used and I havnt explored the function setup yet

I used to have my x-45 in mode setup like what you have there.

I often found my self once basically remembering it all, but during transitions from battle -bombing-landing etc. being in the wrong mode and causing myself havoc.

That's why I have three sticks and the keyboard now and they are all labeled. So I only have one Mode LOL

I've been lucky and keeping my eyes open over the years and collected used ones, for pennies on the dollar.

MFFB $13-$25 and I have three now collected, and two for spares.

X-45 $13 spare in closet and my original one still in use it was $70 IIRC

X-52 $13 in use

Ch pedals $120 IIRRC

G15 $50 IIRC

TrackIr 3pro $130 purchased it new myself

My Ch pedals, and and the X-45, and Logitech G15 Gaming keyboard are the only things that were purchased new, but I got them as Christmas Gifts, so in a way it felt like I didn't pay for them

I have the X52 but I only use the mode rotary wheel to change "comm channels".

I use the clutch button as my transmit key bound to different keys for each mode.

Mode 1 is my regular transmit to channel(F7).

Roll it to mode 3 and the transmit button is bound to F5 that transmits to all channel commanders.

Mode 2 (bound to F6) is reserved for specific whispers. Either to "last whisper received" or my flight leader or the flight of bombers I'm escorting.

F9 is my hotkey to activate channel commander status.

 

Another trick-

I use one of the toggles on the stick for gear down.  Bind the pinkie+gear down toggle to a key. Then set up that key as a macro for 50 strokes of that key. When flying something like an I-16 you just hit pinkie+gear down toggle and it automatically cranks the manual gear down 50 times.

Unfortunately you also have to do a separate one for pinkie+gear up.

Its not perfect but its works for me and the Pics totally suck but it the best I can do with my phone.If you have more than one stick you can band the axis on the sticks to act as buttons I have things like drop[ tanks, slide canopy etc. all on levers basically now also;

 

I like the TS mode idea though,

My setup isn't pretty but it works, not every thing is labeled either. like the banded axis i just know those.

What software are you using to program all this stuff?

I just got a CH stick but would like to use the X52 throttle. I have Saitek rudders as well.  Even better, use the X52 throttle and retain some of the buttons on the X52 stick, toggles, rotary switches and such but use the CH stick as the joystick.

 only use a profile for the X-45 to banned the rudder rocker to control left and right engines and a PT button for TS.

 

IL2, ROF, and Clod support having 4 controllers so I haven't the need so  far for anymore profilers.
