~S~ Joint-Ops is planning a final competition in both of these venues.. Topgun and Topbomb.. we will be making this an open/invitational competition following our original format. (downloads of missions and criteria will be available ) Generally both events take two days, qualification on the first day is a wide open day as far as participants goes dwindling them down via point system to end up with 5 finalists the second day. The weekend is yet to be determined... there will be a $5 participation fee payable on our website "donations" link. There is a trophy/plaque for the winner as well as bragging rights. ~S~ I propose a seminar Sunday March 16th starting at 12 noon eastern time. The topic will be navigating to ships using the advanced navigation features. This will have you flying US navy planes such as the F6F, F4U, Corsair, SBD, TBF Avenger or the TBM .. We will be learning the YE and YG radio features and its ok if you cant hear the morse code... we have an advantage now in using a visual morse code game feature, all will be explained at start time. Practice your carrier landings and take offs... not all ships will have catapults. See you there... please post your intention to attend on the Joint-Ops website. ~S~ Bear
