Was wondering the same thing, it must ignore that or it would shake the machine apart. The whole thing is controlled by the joystick etc. Can't see why TrackIR could not be used, it is used for looking around and has no effect on flight control, as long as this system is a PC type setup and would run the software.

Hey Jabo Flying with the DDs would be great but I come on way too late to be in on the action. That is what you get for living in Western Canada and not being done supper till 7pm my time. Weekends are pretty busy during the day most times and I don't know how much you guys fly on Sundays. The North Africa campaign sounded cool but I never tracked down the details to see when it was happening. I still drop in here from time to time to see what is going on, I just don't post much. ~S~

Glad to see pilot made it but just, he was not very high when he bailed and it was a good thing he did not delay any longer than he did. It is always very sad when one of these rare planes go down, it's to bad. The B17 and now the P51, it has been a hard year so far.

HI Guys Been a while since I flew a Co-op with you guys, will have to change that soon. Was going to last Sunday but my internet was down for 24 hours. Someone 2 hours away on a backhoe cut the cable, ouch. Sorry to hear there are so many problems with the mods. Just my 2 cents but I have a separate install for 4.09 & UP2.1, 4.101 stock, UP3.0, UP3.0RC2 and UP3.0RC3. I have had very few, if any problems other than those inherent to the mod itself. I have a separate JSGME for each version of the mod linked to the directory the mod is in. Stuff like TrackIR works fine in each one and no flying issues. I do not have the wide screen thing so I can’t comment on that. I know I flew a Co-op with the Dogz some time ago, only managed to be rear gunner in an AI aircraft so I know of the crew issue in co-ops. 4.101 looks plain now but I agree if it works best for all that is the way to go.

Thanks. I have copied and printed your instructions and now have to go practice. I was dropping it way too high for one thing. I think this bomb is not affected by the time delay for detonation but I will set it to zero anyways. I believe that should be OK in this case. If understand the idea of the bomblets traveling in a similar way toward earth as an actual bomb would. This is a kind of shotgun bombing; we are still aiming the trajectory that the bomblets will travel, though being lighter will probably travel less far and drop sooner. Do I understand that correct?

In UP3.0 RC2 the German air burst bombs, how are they deployed? Been dropping them on parked airplanes with poor results so I am sure I am not doing something right.

OK. Is it worth the effort; is it better than the choices given on Hyperlobby? Guess I don’t want to end up in a space filled with guys with souped up flight models and wonder woman vision. And yes if someone asks, I could fly with the Dogz more often but its all about timing, I do most of my flying at night and that’s North American time so its too late for most of the group. The only guys I see on late are the ROF guys and I don't fly that.

Sounds interesting, I will have to give it a look, thanks. What does it want to download to my computer? I am always wary of things like that. I hear about enough extra issues with people who get involved with Steam for example. My system is pretty stable as compared to what it was at the start I really would not want to upset that by doing this.

So Trooper, is this XFire thing just like Hyperlobby or is it some other completely different format for online gaming?

Thats why my IL2 puter still runs XP. Hell I still have puters that I use daily that run Win 98 & Win 3.11. Only my laptop is Vista and I don't even try to run games on that. Hope you sort out your problem soon, I hate being hung up with puter problems.

Is anyone available one evening to be on TS to help me trouble shoot Port Forward. Was at the Port Forward site and followed the instructions for how to set it up and it still don't work. Want to go thru the steps with someone that knows the ins and outs so the problem can be solved (if it can) I am starting Joint Ops tonite so the evening would have to be agreed upon to insure no conflicts.
