Has now grafted his X52 Handle onto his MS FFB Sidewinder and all the buttons work. Next job is to reorganise the old throttle and joystick bases into their new home.

An anxious moment with my computer on line last night. Got so engrossed that I didn't notice my right leg getting warmer and a hot smell wafting from the case. Flying back on an enjoyable last mission there was a pop and the system died stone dead. Oops. Luckily no damage done and it rebooted when cool. Must get more fans...must get more fans.

Yeah, I may have heat problems as well but not aroma of burnt flesh though.

Well, it looks the eurofighter's combat debut may be imminent with the passing of the Libya no-fly zone decision. Let's hope they fight better than they look...

So they have decided to go ahead with the no fly zone. Was it passed by the UN? Last I heard Russia & China were against it and its hard, if not impossible to get things passed in that case.

Some days I think the more I fly this sim, the worse I get at it. Getting hits that will cause the enemy plane to crash is not that easy to do. B&Z works if the target does not peal out of line of fire and reaction and if I do line up and get hits they are seldom lethal, then its all the time it takes to get lined up again. I am starting to wonder if I will ever master it.

I am slowly getting things sorted out for flying online but I don't have everything in place yet. Need a better microphone setup and the test I have done so far with things as they are seems to cause an echo effect. At least I have Teamspeak and have it somewhat setup. Have not logged into the DD server yet, still have to do that. I think I have to info to do that. How I get the sim hooked up to run online, that I still have to figure out, looks like that’s done from within the sim, have ...

Yes, I should. I must admit I have been reluctant to do so because of the fact that my situational awareness is not the greatest due to the fact that I don’t have a TrackIR yet and I find it a problem at times in that regard. Guess I should get off the pot and get the rest of what I have to do in regards to setup done so that it’s possible to fly online.
