    Salute To Bg

Oy BG!! Rog told me that you're still holding your ground with fixed bayonet and ammo runing low. Alone. You are not alone Jim. See, many of us came. All of us. Don't be afraid ...or sad...old dragon. Time of fear and sorrow is gone for you. It was just a dream BG. And you are about to be awoke. At much better place than this shithole that we call world. And then...one day... we shall stand our ground and fight same battle as you now. One by one. And you will lead us. One more time. Salute Jim! Good speed you Sir. Vila
  2. I have seen this post one minute ago. I'm sorry for your lost Beebop. Last Salute to an old Marine.
  3. I'm speechless. Does anybody know minimum rig requirements? I still have robber mask somewhere. Maybe it's time to use it.

    DD vs 15./JG52 DF

I am back and so much in .
  5. I am using Thrustmaster T - Flight HOTAS X. You can fly while controller complet is attached, or dissemble it and have separate stick and throttle. No sliders, one Hat switch (usable for four functions), 12 buttons in total. Before i bought pedals, on stick I had buttons for: - guns - cannons - guns + cannons - bombs - elevator trims (Hat switch) - rudder - zoom in view (Hat switch) - zoom out view (Hat switch) Throttle: - Flaps (all 3 stages) - flaps neutral - landing gear (up and down) - lock tail wheel (also "push to talk button" for TS) - trim neutral - boost (on and off). It allso have "rocking button" originally made for rudder contoll, but since it have rudder on stick (left - right rotation), i have never used it. On keyboard, I am using keys for :Engine on - off, complexe engine management, map, navlights, cockpit lights. Until now, I did not have any need for anything else. Controller is very simple, it costs 40Euro, when you plug it in (UBS) it is more than easy to program buttons. Sorry to hear that you returned pedals They serve me nicely.
  6. I know mate! Had the same problem for first 10 minutes. Then I put pedals Little farther under the table, fixate them, and now everything is OK. Plastic heel support on both pedals are enough big to have nicely legs and feet position during flight. It works fine now. Well at least for me. I am using only socs too. About that problem with "big play in the middle of the stick", Gec had the same issue with his Cougar stick. I know that he dissembled it and figure out some kind of problem with spring. He even ordered another, modified spring and replaced first, originally one. Do not know how it went. BTW, I am looking photo of your rig. You are really far away from monitor. When in game, I have to stick my nose maximum 40 cm from the screen, otherwise would not see anything that is 1,5+ Km away.
  7. 4. The rudderpedals has a very low support for the heels. A bit dissapointing I think.
  8. Hell of a story Tribunus! Example of bravery and determination! I am so glad he make home safely! He probably hated winter after that though. I have story too. February 1992. War in Croatia. Western Slavonia region. 48 hours of Cease fire on that part of the Front. 3 uniformed, armed individuals with white flag (T-Shirt) are crossing open field toward 1st defence sector of litle town named Novska. Nobody fires. "They are probably not surrending are they?" "No way bro". "Their mates would cut them on half with MGs". So my platoon CMDR orderd "Keep them on sights but hold your fire guys, I am going to see what they want". So he went. Came back 15 minutes after talking an smoking with them. "They want to set a Soccer mach"! What? "THEY WANT TO SET A SOCCER MACH!!!!!" (8 days before that after all day battle, we stoped their infantry-armorred Brigade on advance). "Can we get some of what ever they use?" "Well, we are siting over here for some time now and doing nothin anyway!" 2 days after "are they serious" talking in battalion, 3 more meetings on "nobodys land" and putting everything and everybody on first defence line, I wached that soccer game. We won 4:2. It was not WW1, it was not in some imaginary country, I was sober, they did it and I saw it. Nobody fired a single bullet until next morning. How to explain that? I do not know. Each side did not hesitate to kill before, or after that. During game, it chross my mind to kill our goolman after 0:1. So much present hate was absent that day and war did not seem so cold und ugly.
  9. No m8, you guys are much more polite than we usually are . Both of us feel more than welcome over there. It was just...GREAT!!! Thanks again.

Anyway, I had a time of my life during last three days. The DD crew over there is really something. Everything, I mean everything was perfect. Laughter that we had, Show by it self, thunderstorm of engines, air maneuvers, pools of beer, Bulgarian waitress, bunch of drunken Germans, guys from RAF with British version of "Lillie Marlen", debate is Painless human or does he in fact belongs to still uncovered category, pricks from 69th GIAP... Gec, Jabo, Friar, Painless, Sid, Knight, OT, Sged, Crash...A huge THANK YOU for everything m8s!!!!!! It was fantastic!!!!! P.S. Sid m8, I'll get sick if you don't tell me WHAT TO HELL DID YOU DO TO YOUR WIFE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
