  1. The 2500K is just a great processor, I have heard great things about it. I built a rig for my brother-in-law and he seems happy with it. Pretty much the best bang-for-buck CPU out there (or was 5 months ago).

    BA and his corpse pile.
  3. This is the support topic for the tutorial Pitot heat and Afterburners. Please post here if you have any questions or feedback.
  4. I kinda miss the rape fields, I grew up in the south, pretty much the entire area was bright yellow for a month.
  5. Need further testing, but sure, If you like Arma and can bear the nuisances that come with the engine, then yes.
  6. Here I thought I was good at procrastinating... All hail the new master.
  7. Been watching this for a while, looks a lot more advanced than Arma II on a couple of fronts.

Jack and I go flying in DCS World.
  9. Yep, it's a canberra, the canopy is a bit of a giveaway.
  10. I think I will have to be a no-show, I really ought to save up some money for other things, like rent and food.
  11. I love my 560 ti (I have the 1GB version).
  12. It is a game, not a sim. Doesn't make it less enjoyable, just in a different way.
  13. Even if you have a flameout, the EPU will still power the FLCS system.
  14. Welcome, and pardon the wierdos.
  15. Once you know about the tailwheel lock, take off really is quite easy. But as most situations in life, if you are not careful with the stick, it is going to end poorly.
  16. To add to the awesomeness, the next patch will integrate BS2 and A10C into the DCS-world hub, so we can run missions with p-51s, Ka50, SU-25t (designated SEAD-bus ) and of course the A10C.
  17. Good to hear Zip (or Jake). I joined the dogz when I was 18, been here ever since, a bunch of extraordinarily kind and entertaining fellows. Hopefully they will be good influence of you. I started playing flight sims when I was about 5, and started playing online when I was 15. Good luck to you. All I can recommend to you is to keep your interest up and keep a keen ear. You will learn a lot from the dogz. They truly represent the very best in an online squad, ranging from limitless compassion to the utmost of tolerance, with a bottomless font of knowledge.
  18. Quite a nice ride isn't she? I must say, even if there is not much in the way of application so far for the old girl, she sure is a nice piece of kit.
