So are you boys going for these SuperMegaOC cards/room heaters purely for VR?

I have looked and it does look good. My interest now though is very much going to be something away from WW2, hence 'Cold War' and 'Vietnam' eras in DCS albeit on non relevant maps. At the moment the map situation isn't a problem for me but a dedicated Korea sim with Corsairs, early jets and potentially Bearcats, Tigercats, A26 Invaders, Sea Fury, Skyraider is what would do it for me. A DCS Skyraider and a Vietnam map would also definitely float my boat.

I wouldn't like to see it go yet however I don't think my personal circumstances would justify keeping it...it's the availability of GBS as an occasional drop in for me that works. The thing for me with GBS, apart from the time I currently don't have, is that the WW2 planeset and maps being produced by the Devs are repetitive. Apart from the Waco I have seen nothing in the roadmap that interests me hence the reason I fly DCS more - I have only bought the Waco in the past months whereas I used to buy pretty much everything. The I-153 and the Karelia map has some interest for me but I don't think there will be enough Dogz to provide the numbers to give it a good go. Until 'Korea' comes along and after that Jason's 'Pacific' scenario GBS is an option to choose other than DCS. When these new ones come along I think interest will return and this would be the time to swap GBS out.

Thoroughly enjoyed the mission Friar...thank you, a purpose for Garlic 1.... The runway demolition was a perfect run in, no piccies but it was good.... Second aircraft, piccies, great fun, out and back in. Airfield well and truly disabled I think. Thanks for your company chaps -
Il-2, lack of mods and C/D drives

It looks good. Does the same as Matric but is set up as per the actual aircraft rather than custom made ones.

Looking forward to this Wingy!!

Thanks Gents, it truly was a nasty uncomfortable experience. It's fair to say that today, Sunday, I feel much better. Fever has all but gone and the pain below has eased greatly so I will continue paracetamol 'til tomorrow I think and the antibiotics 'til the end of the week - no way I want this bugger coming back!!

Turns out it isn't the dreaded lurgy I have.... I had an absolute mare of a week, Monday onwards. I absolutely hate the hot weather so thinking it was heat stroke/hot weather related I went with the headaches and tiredness until it became painful to pee. Having next to no sleep Thursday night because of the willy pain and the need to pee, I have never been so uncomfortable before in my life, the heat wrapping my already hot (not that way Painless) body so I found it hard to cool down. I got an appointment cancellation at the Docs Friday morning. Doc said it is urinary infection hence the pain and fever. Apparently these don't occur in men very often, you are allowed one (cheers I thought) then any more will need more thorough investigation. Antibiotics and up to 8 x 500mg paracetamol a day. It's basically laid me out. I drink water, I need to pee, it hurts. I have fans going etc. So, hopefully the antibiotics will kick in very soon and this shite hot weather will just feck off.....it it rains I will be out there skinny dipping in the puddles..... Thought I'd share it with you. Cheerzen

Have a look at this https://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Knowledge_Base&file=print&kid=377&page=1 It seems to refer to IL2 FB (Forgotten Battles) which I know as the for runner of 1946 Might be the same information you first put up but from a different website, sorry

A collection of skins for the DCS Harrier II/AV8B for your delectation if you desire. Unzip to where you have your liveries, they are in the correctly named aircraft folder. There are British, Italian and Spanish Navy.

I had a look at the GBUs on the mirage....same system. I can acquire the target visually and lock it in or lock in the coordinates like you did but I need to look at how to do that as I haven't touched the nav system yet. This could be much fun....

I have grandchild care today chaps so it's unlikely I will be on before 8.30pm. Sorry....

I had an issue with the default / for bringing up the comms panel. It worked for some a/c but not others. I remapped it for all a/c to something different.

Ouch Wingy.....take care mate, rest up

The Bronco has updated to v1.24 from v1.08. It has a lot of additions and enhancements eg. functioning canopy, 5 x paratroops!, huge great Mk4 gun pod, skins and probably stuff I haven't found yet.... Change log :-> Functional gun safe switch-> Gun pod Mk4 Mod0 added-> Update of icons and wallpaper-> Command system update (joystick and keyboard)-> ZUNI LAU33 added-> more rocket added-> Canopy animation (must be opened to rearm)-> Added flight board / KNEEBOARD (thanks Tator)-> Parachutists Dropable (work in progress)-> Rain on canopy-> Textures and liveries update-> 3D model update Lots of additional fun! I have put a zip in the vault here should you want it as you already have the original so I don't see it as a problem putting it here. Cheerzen
