From my point of view I don't use them very often but it is fun to have tank challenges every so often. I would say yes to inclusion but will go with the majority.

Talking about moonlight.....I did a night mission doing runway bombing. Absolutely brilliant fun...used flashlight, NVG and all sorts. Got a trk and will be looking to see what the BAP bombs look like. Very happy bunny....

I will ask very politely and suggest that, should you like to, download this zip file that contains Sid's nine Mirage 2000 skins that he uses and won't be adding to because it contains all the lovely shiny, colourful and drab ones he will ever want to
currentlyuse.Unzip and place in 'C/Users/......./Saved Games/ DCS.openbeta/Liveries'. It's only a gig of absolutely lovely Miragery and it will make you feel good......honest. The folder is named correctly 'M-2000C' so can go straight in. Go on, you know you want to....

Wow chaps, what a busy evening!!! I stuck with the M2000 and had a ball
Just a couple of screenies from this evening and one from an earlier date screaming low over the desert outside of Dubai. I love the reflectivity of the skins....I know it's a retro 60s but it is a classic Mirage so has to be worn....the weapons are the Matra rockets and the Belouga cluster bomb system. The 3rd pic is the effect of the BAP 100 runway cratering bombs, don't ya just love a nice set of baps
18 rocket propelled bombs that bury themselves into the concrete before exploding....could have spread them a bit more to get a longer line.
Great fun, thanks for your company. Your giggle had me going aswell Mel....was it something I said??

Do you use 'MyDrive' or a similar file sharing platform? I can upload mine to it if you do.

I really think that in reality with the F5 you won't need a profile. Pretty much everything on the start up is cockpit clickable and so are the weapons. You don't need as many mappings as you may expect....have an hour spare, and I will get you up and running without a profile. Honest.

2) Multiplayer works with Dogz a treat. Due to the sterling and generous work of Tom and FT (please excuse others if I haven't mentioned you) we have a large map that caters for all types of aircraft and ground vehicles in a huge map on our own server running 24/7. A pilot can fly what they like, practice what they like and get valuable hints tips and lessons from anyone who knows what they are talking about. It's fun

One thing I forgot to do and now am mentioning is that you will probably have to choose the new alternative multi threading DCS.exe from the 'Add' section in the 'Manage 3D settings' box above. Hover the mouse icon over the .exe and it will confirm you have the right one.

Good idea. I turned it on in the DCS profile as I think if it was done in the Global Settings it would be forcing it on for everything.

The Su series of assault gun/tank destroyers came into being early 1943 after the Stugs were encountered so weren't at Stalingrad. They were designed to be used not as tank destroyers but as fortification busters hence the huge guns and the HE shells. Brute force as opposed to German accuracy and AP shells. Yes, they are powerful but are a pig to operate.
I agree, the Su and Tiger aren't an equivalent match but Ru doesn't have anything to kill Tigers. If anything, take out the Su and the Tiger.

Yep, they came in towards the end and were known as the 'Wooden Saviour of Stalingrad'. But, they were there so are probably more typical than the 190 which wasn't

How about take out the 190 and put in the Stuka? It is possibly more representative of the types there. Increase the number of 109s available by 50% and put in 50% numbers of Stukas.

Done some testing.....PzIII has the firepower to take out T34 76 1943. Both are similar, I would be happy with that but please, others look too. I did a 1 on 1 Quick mission in Stalingrad, 3 waves. Survived in both tanks despite a few hits on me, destroyed all 6 with standard APHE from 250 - 400 m

Apparently virtually all addons will be transferrable so in reality and practicality it's similar to buying a new module for GBS or DCS but without integration into current maps. However, unlike GBS and DCS MSFS covers the whole globe (sorry flat earthers) in one purchase not small portions that you have to buy each time you want to fly somewhere different as in GBS and DCS. In some respects, for those that like the genre and are looking for a long term investment, it's probably better value buying '2024'.
