  1. Gents, we had another AAR failure last night; as such the campaign has not progressed. Obviously there are some deeper issues with PWCG than we first suspected. I will log these failures with Pat but cannot guarantee we will have a fix prior to the next scheduled event (Tuesday 17th August) . I doubt you would want to ground-hog day it again, so should we not have a solution by then we have a couple of options. 1. Run as conventionla co-op eve 2. Try out the Iconic Mission Generator built into PWCG; essentially this generates a one-off, non-campaign mission. Flown from Engine Cold to landing as a normal PWCG mission. Let me know your thoughts.

  4. This is why staying up passed midnight writing debriefs ain't the best idea! Apologies to the fine gentlemen of the 402nd for any offence suffered. It shall be corrected forthwith.

  8. To join the Dogz server you only need two free Mods: A-4E Community Mod: https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/207102-community-a-4e-c/ T-45 Goshawk Mod: https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/203816-vnao-t-45-goshawk/ As for nice to haves... Recommend a WW2 aircraft module; all are available on server and on Thursday we tend towards more propellorhead related activities Recommend the WW2 Asset Pack module; as part of the Thursday vintage experience we sometimes run a period co-op and these rely on the Asset Pack as well as... Recommend a WW2 Map module, either Normandy or Channel Map; as part of the Thursday vintage experience we sometimes run a period co-op and these rely on one of these DLC maps. If you have the F-14 or F/A-18C the Supercarrier module is a great addition, and on Mondays we occasionally run a Modern Era PvE Co-op and the Supercarrier is the go-to Carrier for the Naval Aviators. Ultimately the DCS Server dogfight mission (which is our primary go-to form of DCS on a given eve) has been designed to be as accessible as possible and provide some form of action/entertainment for every pilotable module.
  9. I suspect Oculus Tray Tool is the culprit - it's never supported segregated sound outputs well, particularly when you're directing comms away from the VR headset. Furthermore I suspect there's a conflict happening between Oculus Tray Tool and the Oculus App. Use one or the other, not both. I only use Oculus App, with Steam VR managing the interface with Il-2, no Tray Tool involved.
  10. Reggie, none of us saw you crash so as far as we're concerned you went MIA on mission but miraculously emerged in the Squadron Bar later that evening, somewhat worse for wear having had a set to with a Hun AAA gun and left your P-38 wrecked in no-mans land.

  12. It's odd... when kev initially posted the screenshots from Thuirsday night i too was unable to see them, yet on Friday night they magically rendered. Now I cannot see them again...
  13. Duly noted Crasheroony; sure Sidney Pudding would welcome some less robotic company...!
  14. Yeah. For a non sentient computer program PWCG certainly has a creative streak when it comes to assigning kill claims; we've seen examples of this since day one. This is why I try to establish the precise sub-variant of each kill you claim as this can have a bearing on what gets awarded; if you claim a D-9 but actually shot an A-8 and no Dora's were in that mission then your claim could get denied or awarded to someone else.
