Yeah, I'm with the guy's on that whole Vista thing, as you can get XP 64 on the cheap. AS far as the hardware, you'll have a well balanced wicked bad-assed benchmark stomping rig. I'd only change anything if you needed to save money, otherwise the OS is the only issue. EDIT: On second thought, I'm concerned about the lack of specs on that board, although MSI makes good boards. You may want to check that the board supports both SLI and crossfire, as this may come in handy down the road (and the cross compatibility is one of the big pluses of the X58 chipset)

The photo's are not of the correct aircraft, (I believe it was an A6 not a Dora) but it has been restored to flying condition and lives in the US now. EDIT: The plane in the clip is actually an A5. All I can find right now is that it has been restored and is currently undergoing final fitout for flight, it is reported to be owned by Paul Allen but the Flying Heritage website has nothing on it. (although it does show the D-13). I'd swear I've seen photo's of the completed aircraft, but I can't find them. It may well have already flown buy now.

I will use my superior intelligence and defend myself. I think that the AI was noticeably more unpredictable and used much more complex maneuvers.

O.K. if just replacing your settings with mine does not work try going into setup and unchecking the two boxes that reference vertex arrays. If that does not work re-check the boxes and don't fuck with it any more. Go to your happy place

Sorry I didn't see this earlier, but we'll get to the bottom of this. Two things I know Catalyst AI has to be set to standard, and triple buffering should be off as it will cause tearing. The purple lighting is something I've heard of, I'll find where. Don't worry. Your in good hands.

GK, LOL My first test was 1150 even, then switched my GF card over to the testing profile, killed all of the xp eyecandy, double checked that every program was off.......and all I got for my trouble was a lousy 16.6 points. Ooooh, maybe if I run FS autostart...... Snacks, That's a free trial I got with my ATI driver. I saved it because I figured it was worth a try....hell, several million people play it, how bad can it suck..... BTW, your right on with the Elf thing mate, but not like one of those little gay santa type elfs, no I'd be like a highland Elf with a 7' long Bow that no mere mortal could bend and an ancient Elven sword made of mithriel .......yeah, that's it.

Oh, that's wierd. I'll have to think on that one. I will say that I had a problem where I couldn't use TIR and the gunner at the same time or else I'd have only limited swivel on the gunmount. The only fix was a game re-install. But don't panic yet, someone may come along with a quick and easy fix.
