How are some of you attaching Screen shots?
I have posted in the past using the link at the bottom, but now it doesn't work from any PC? I noticed some have posted the actual photo and not the link too, as done from the add image to post link.
How? :?
I might be out completely,
If the Electrical workers Union strikes:argue:, Then I have Strike Duty 6 days a week from 8:00am-8:00pm to cover thier work.
and I will Miss my Joint Ops. :x
I will not know until after the 29th.
Well now I can't Fly
No just Kidding, I'm Still in.
Wait a min. I'm not sure if I have Joint Ops that friday :?
I know my MEPS class is on the 4th & I start Basic on the 7th.
Oh well I'll find out
Shucks
I'll wait and see,
I'm still trying to tune my PC for IL2's best. I also agree with frior about how much stuff I have not explored in the game. and I have only had my IL2 for less than a year. so I am not burned out yet. every time I fly I see something new and cool.
No guns, Contact Combat. and only with the Chevron Wings. If you knock a guy out of the sky, you have to do a roll or a loop the make the kill official. they are made of EPP foam(most of them) the High performance birds are carbon fiber and Fibergalss. The warbirds are not usually combating, but durring formation flying they make contact sometimes
EG:
No more than most hobbies, You can get "started" @ around $200 (Combat wing, TX, & RX). But like eveything you always want more. After about 15 years of flying I have built up quite a collection. not as much as some. I think I spend about $300-$500 a year. Better than spending it on Crack.
Mostly Scale, the wings are changed a bit for flight performance un-powered. and the fuses are shaped by hand.
here are some close ups of the 2 P-51's and my Mig-3.
The green MIG-3 with the other two warbirds in the first photo and one of them wings in the swarm. I took 7 with me, ranging from a 8oz floater to a 65oz 98mph flying speed demon!!
In the group photo I and my Dog Maya are on the right.
I'm waiting for the really cool photos to show up and hopefully a video of some formation flying me and another guy were doing at "Very High Speeds!!"
I am still shaking.
Just thought I would share some photos from my weekend.
3 days of beer, wind, laughing, flying, camping, cussin, crashing and picking dirt out of my teeth at the 2006 Western Colorado Slope Challenge.
Hey FreeLancer,
Are you going to host? I might be able to jump in for a round or two tonight since I will be missing the weekend and maybe tomorrow. :?
I would be up for a couple hours of flight time since I got in late last night. But I do have to get on some other Hobby chores eg: Fly tying for tomorrows fishing trip & Slope Glider repairs for up comming combat competition on the Westerh slope. And I have to squeeze some time in for my girl and keep her happy.
When you Salute in JO, do you say Salute over TS or chat it?? I don't quite understand that.
You will get a downloadable document that explains everything but when you first join TS you usually say "Salute all" and same when you leave.
I'm In for the June Joint Ops class
I hope I don't get butterflies in my stomach on the first day . I still get them every now and then when I fly with you guys, and you are not serious!
