Hi all...new hd and most got 'ghosted' over - but lost the passwords and IP's for the TS server and backup... I see BG, Gurrypuddle and others on the comms, but I can't connect!

thanks all... just reading a (very long, and dry but informative) booked called 900 Days - about the seige of Leningrad. On page 200 and it is just now getting to the start of the war. Couple things: it is absolutely amazing how badly Stalin misread Hitler.

question I'd throw out there: Wonder why the Soviets didn't go in and finish off Finland (no pun intended) after (or during) the war? I mean, it's not as if Stalin wasn't looking to expand the empire - and they obviously had 'history'. Yea, the Finns fought well in the 'continuation war' etc, but I couldn't imagine them having a chance against the USSR of 1945... appreciate your thoughts on this...

Hi guys... have been having some 'issues' lately with the old 'puter make a long story short, when I start up it now says "boot disk error" and asks to install system disk and press enter so I put in my XP disk and press enter and get nothing. tried to reboot with the disk in and get the whole set up rigamarole with XP (I cancelled out as I was afraid it was heading into reformat territory). Any ideas guys?
