  2. from last nights co-ops- kawilder and bbloke collided and bbloke took up gliding
  3. http://www.dangerdogz.com/resources/p13 ... fileid/130 is a track from a mission last night , one of my better ones, with a nice fight at the end with steph. I also recorded painless vs the luftwaffe but Im getting an error message when I try to play this - pity as this was excellent flying by painless
  4. I have the same problem with aI - try fighting 3 AI ace hurricanes in a FW190 D or A series - they never blow E and always climb at most efficient- they turn 180 and are on you and gain?!? The trick I found is to turn AWAY from them as they turn towards you and gentlly climb and turn and they will eventually lose E and you can turn to their 6 - but it isnt really like humans- a better way to practice is to use the full misssion builder to create situations-like I did for my guns missions - you can place the bandit in exact height and position relative to you so you can practice different situations and not just head on meets. Or use uberdeamons quick mision generator to do the same - then you can use shift _E s quick mission tuner to tailor things quickly. all these utilities are on airwarfare http://www.airwarfare.com/Sims/FB/fb_es ... es.htm#035 http://www.airwarfare.com/Sims/FB/fb_es ... es.htm#044 and guide for full mission builder http://www.jumpintojapan.com/index.html but you already build maps so probably wont need this mate I still play my guns and revi guns missions a lot as quick practice sessions

    What a babe!

I agree with what has been posted - it would be good to do this kind of DCG thing on a regular bases as part of one of our nights and then go back to the co-ops . It would be good to run it for a while to see the effects on the lines etc, and folk could pick teams for the night so that they dont have to stick to a plane type over the whole campaign - Im sure you can tailor the planesets and mission timelines to ensure a quick progression from crapplanes through to 45 types to give variety . I liked the crimea as it was a short map and had good targets so there was plenty of action quazi is it possible for different hosts to host the same campaign so that the progress can be maintained or would it rely on one host to carry it through ?
  10. Although I do moan about the crap-planes, it is really only exhasperation at my poor flying skills in them - I secretly like them now and again - they really are unforgiving and make you concentrate on your flying - I had a great laugh chasing enforcer round-and-round-and-round until I got fed up and stalled into the ground -again -

    New wingman

sitting or shitting on your shoulder - try saying that after 6 scotchs BG
  12. No worries, you didn't miss anything because they didn't show. Plus my internet connection went to the dogs on the couple of last missions. "Warp speed, captain!". @ Delta: Too bad you didn't post the pics of our slow-mo fight! You know, the one where I finally rammed you from behind in a totally non sexual way. unfortunatly I didnt record that one - it was similar to the rolling scissors track with bbloke but I didnt fly as well and you had me engine smoking before you ran out of ammo - I might have limped home but the russki suicide squad didnt want another brave flier to flee home
  13. one of the early missions I got caught low and slow in a FW with this result I weave and roll but they wont leave so I scream -like-a-girl-for help thankfully redeye and cannon hear my pitiful pleas and the calvery arrive thanks mates for saving my sorry hide even shot up I would have made it home but colin goaded me into trying to get under a bridge but with the usual results me +bridge=BOOM!!! I lost count of the missions I got peppered either in the wing or the engine but usually got home- apart from when jax slaughtered me with a FW-190 - he is very good in this bird ~S~

    What a babe!

I liked it when Quazi was running the DCG crimea campaign so would be happy to try this out - it would be good to try for a change like the dogfight nights - variety is the spice of life
  15. so what happened in the second mission ? the red won the first due to our couragous bombers taking out a carrier- I think sunflower got the final hit - but what happened afterwards? well done to the red fighter group in that first mission we managed to keep midway clear long enough for the bombers to take off - my efforts were reduced by severe stutters which caused 2 mid air crashes -apologies to blue pilots involved but I couldnt do anything to prevent this I liked the icon sets and map set glen - it made it difficult to pick out enemy but maintain contact with friends , also made you work on navigation so added to atmosphere
  16. demon used to have an excellent rep - hate it when faceless pricks on the phone pass you around like that - dont know of any others you could try when you read the reviews on www.ispreview.co.uk its a mixed bag although firefly were very good when I had problems and tried them out - I started with virgin and moved to a cheaper provider but went back to virgin as service is ok, although expensive as its premium telephone numbers, and servers seem reliable. edit - posting same time as you god help you if you have to wait on BT engineers to fix the line
  17. thanks mate - im only sorry I had to leave early
  18. absolutly no problems mate - I should have spent more time learning how to put them in correct place and not just scattering them across the site- you have after all done all the hard work in setting everything up - hope you get yer IP sorted soon
