  3. well following the advice and settings posted here Iv been sticking to 300m for both cannon and machine guns for the past few weeks and have noticed an improvement in hit rate. I also have both mapped to fire at the same time , so I only have to press 1 button and when cannon run out its time to go home, m/c guns are there for emergency backup.
  4. I would have preferred the same mate- but bbloke has the hex on me and I was pulling tight to line up for the lead shot when - bang I lost it

  9. the x800 and x850 series are a nice set of cards - you should see better image quality( be able to run at higher AA and AF) and get some fps increase with this upgrade Quazi knows how to flash these cards if you are willing to risk this for inceased performance , but you would need to swop cooler if you wanted to do this. wait for Quazi - hes the ATI king
  10. thanks mate In the game the A series are the jabo varients (apart from the A5 boost) with less boost that was operational on the western front I like the A6 the best to fly , it is the most nimble but a bit slow. the A8 and A9 are good for in and out, fast with excellent firepower- but I wouldnt try dogfighting with them - the A9 is faster. the F variation is the bomber - it has heavier armour and strengthened undercarrage- excellent for jabo but a pig to fight in the dora D variations are the fastest and best handling but have less firepower hope this helps

Pooka if there is anything that you particularly want tracks of please let me know - I have a few in my collection - mostly flying FWs and mes but some others, Im sure I still have some good ones of psycho and rog doing the ring of fire mission etc anyway e-mail me and Ill see what I can do- OMG - that means Ill probably have to catalogue them to find out what they all are :shock:

Glen , planesets last time were of course fine, it was just in case you were thinking of altering or adding to them, then I would be glad to offer advice on this or any other points that you may have considered over the last time we played this- I think most will agree that there is no need to make any big changes as it was a great time and very close apart from last mission where I got my tactics a bit wrong :oops: ~S~ dave

I also recorded painless vs the luftwaffe but Im getting an error message when I try to play this - pity as this was excellent flying by painless
  21. I have the same problem with aI - try fighting 3 AI ace hurricanes in a FW190 D or A series - they never blow E and always climb at most efficient- they turn 180 and are on you and gain?!? The trick I found is to turn AWAY from them as they turn towards you and gentlly climb and turn and they will eventually lose E and you can turn to their 6 - but it isnt really like humans- a better way to practice is to use the full misssion builder to create situations-like I did for my guns missions - you can place the bandit in exact height and position relative to you so you can practice different situations and not just head on meets.
