Idle hands....Wind Angle calculator for level bombing
Bob replied to Sid's topic in IL-2 Sturmovik: Great Battles Series
Not at all Sid, we all know the reasoning for your ability to generate good things is down to your sheer genius. Bum fluff in belly buttons however remains a mystery that is beyond human comprehension ☺️ -

Yes but nowhere near as interesting as the conversation as to why you get bum fluff in you belly button. No one has yes been able to provide a plausible reason into the reasoning behind this strange phenomenon. -

You could well be right, the only reason might be all things grow better when come out of somewhere that is full of a “well fertilised “ source material. -

Yes indeedy, with every confidence that your shoes will stay dry, well as long as you don’t mess up your headings with your bearings. -

Bob replied to FoolTrottel's topic in IL-2 Sturmovik: Great Battles Series
HI @FoolTrottel, dont appear to be able to select normal choice of planes on the new servers? Really need the P38 and the Spit Mk9 would be apprieciated. Can you include? Thanks BOB -
it comes with it, for the quadrant and trims its their design, the stick is a recommended monitor mount to which you attach the quick release plate.

Well, the flight stick was made difficult by the tutorial video. In hindsight should have watched at least 3 times, made notes of all the changes that came up in the update text windows, watched 3 more times and then followed the video! Shame about the missing connector, flaps will have to wait. As they are primarily associated with landing, not really required. don’t think I can bring myself to plug them in, shorted wired crossed connections, where the alcohol.
-
Perfect FT if I connect all the wires together, does that mean they will become autonomous? Making my spitfire be the ultimate AI machine, vanquishing all that cross her sights? Or will I still as bad at landing as I have always been?
-
Thanks Friar, stick gas been difficult to say the least, nearly there, biggest problem is the build video has been updated so many times that it is now difficult to follow, one minute the wires are blue, the next yellow, aaaaarrrrrrrrhhhhhhhh!

First issue with kit content, missing Cat 6 connector, was going to leave the flight stick until last, but will leave flaps not and do the hardest one, part one of three

2nd Lt. Ian bayles bailed over friendly territory near airfield, was walking back until encountered local pub. Was warmly welcomed upon entering the aforementioned hostilery and subsequently claiming x5 pints of their best ale. -
Not sure how many use, but have made a simple doc of the SRS commands for CombatBox. With no icons i find "control, request bearing home....." really useful😀 CombatBoxSRSCommands.docx
