  1. Yes, yes, for those that only have Battle of Stalingrad this might be indeed particularly and extra specially interesting... As in... Go for it! (Not sure what it will bring you exactly, but I think I can guess it may tempt our Arthur to do some more mission editing, as he could add Bom-aircraft to his rather recently edited/created Bos-aircraft-specific missions... And we all realize that keeping Arthur busy is very important to keep our world safe, stable, and with plenty of food and drinks... )

  2. First In-game Po-2 Shots Here are the first WIP screenshots of the Po-2 aircraft being made for the sim. This famous general-purpose biplane served in many roles during WWII, the Korean War and peacetime. It did it all from aerial recon, ad-hoc night bombing to crop dusting. Its 3D model for the sim is being developed by our external development partner Yugra Media. As you can see it's coming along nicely!

  3. Killing Joke? Bloody hell FT! I saw them at Elephant Fayre in Cornwall in the summer of '85. Apparently this is considered their best ever live gig......but I thought they were crap. Probably not helped by it raining all evening. The following night New Model Army headlined and I thought they were better but they were cut short by a power failure. For pure eighties nostalgia here's the Cure at Glastonbury the following summer. They came on stage during a lightning storm over the site, then the rain stopped, the lasers on the top of the pyramid stage started up and the moon came out......... Edit; excellent news Crash. Hopefully these guys can start work on my Mosquito next!

  5. It turns out that the buttons for mixture up/down were set to pulse in Target. When I set them to hold I was able to increase the mixture as the start up was finishing and the issue has now gone away

  6. Here's an Air & Space article about them. Some things I did not know, for example, the fact that the oft repeated story of unknown U.S. contractors having sabotaged systems did not in fact cause the complete failure of the Iranian F-14s as is often claimed. All of those (only 16) missiles were returned to service - care of parts stolen from the USN. However, the missiles' batteries proved to be a (the?) real issue, resulting in fewer and fewer serviceable AIM-54s as the 1980's war progressed. An interesting read, particularly about the fragility of friendships. Case in point, the section talking about the fact that all but two of the original cadre of the U.S. trained F-14 pilots left the country, to include 15 still in training. "Javad (pseudonym) was one who stayed. He was arrested by a close friend at gunpoint, in front of his family. When the war with Iraq began, he was released." So next time you're country is taken over in a religious revolution, think twice before trusting even your closest friends. https://www.airspacemag.com/military-aviation/persian-cats-9242012/?page=1 More Iranian Tomcat stuff to follow when it is found.

  10. Sim flying can get a bit silly. Still, awesome PC+ top of the range controllers+VR+motion platform is an awful lot cheaper than owning a plane and lets face it WHEN you mess up all you do is hit re-fly
